The 3:00 Book Presents Itself
PHILADELPHIA, PA- The 3:00 Book presents itself on Friday, September 7
th at Vagabond, 37 North 3
rd Street, Philadelphia, PA. 5 - 9p.m. The book itself will be on display and available for purchase. 15$ Maureen Cummings and Beth Heinly will be accompanying the book with a mural that depicts the end still from a 3:00 comic, “Eaten by a Carpet”. At 7 p.m. Pumpkinhead, a character from the 3:00 book, will be arriving to perform his specific act. Pumpkinhead is a stick figure with a pumpkin head that pisses gasoline and lights things on fire. For safety reasons, he will not be using gasoline. At 9 p.m. Pumpkinhead will be heading over to Copy at 319 N. 11
th Street for a book signing. In black and white all 212 photocopied pages document a comedic strategy that is teenage angst, the blood, piss and hair dye are hand colored. Inside you will find jokes you might get and some you will want to entirely ignore. Outside you will find nothing, but people walking down the street.
